RESERVED PERMITS

To apply for a permit below, please return a printed application to Parking and Transportation Services, Box 90644, 0100 Facilities Center, Attn: Susan Stewart.
Reserved Permits
$1,158 Annually
Reserved permits allow use of an individually numbered and assigned parking space for one year. The corresponding permit must be displayed in the vehicle at all times while parked in that space, between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and on weekends. A reserved permit is also valid in all other non-reserved spaces on campus, excluding parking in the West Campus Chapel Quad.
Departments may request Reserved spaces for departmental and service vehicles, and for visitors. Daily visitor permits are provided at no charge for use in reserved visitor spaces. Approval is required to utilize fund codes for parking purchases.
Universal Access Permits
$960 Annually
Universal Access permits are valid in PGIV, LaSalle and in all other non-premium lots. Universal Access permits are not valid in reserved, service, or handicapped spaces, in loading zones, or on the West Campus Chapel Quad. Special requests for access to the Allen and Science lots will be considered. Departments may request Universal Access permits for departmental vehicles (not service vehicles) or to share among employees whose work requires driving to various lots on campus in their personal vehicles. Approval is required to utilize fund codes for parking purchases.
MOTORCYCLE PERMITS
$52.00 Annually or free if owner has valid automobile permit
Motorcycle permits allow parking in all marked motorcycle spaces on campus.
EVENING PERMITS
$48.00 Annually
Evening permits allow access to certain proximate lots after 3:00 p.m. and on weekends.
NIGHT PERMITS
$16.00 Annually
Night permits allow access to certain proximate lots after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends.
DAILY VISITOR PERMITS
Visitors on campus must display a daily visitor permit or pay the hourly rate in visitor lots. Faculty, staff and students associated with Duke University or Health System, and individuals who use the resources of Duke University more than twice weekly are not considered visitors and may not display a visitor permit. Daily Visitor Permits are sold to departments for distribution to their guests.
ZONED LOTS
$3 daily
Permits valid in zoned lots or reserved visitor spaces do not expire until used, and may be requested in increments of 25.
HOURLY LOTS
$5 daily
Permits valid in visitor pay lots and Parking Garage IV may be purchased in bulk.
